The 50th anniversary of Ranger Training at Camp Frank D. Merrill was held in conjunction with the 5th Ranger Training Battalion Open House on May 18-20, 2001. The event was well attended and our host, the 5th RTB, put on an excellent demonstration that made us all long for the days of our past when that was us: young, tough, and committed to excellence.
