Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Bob Suchke Message: Wow! I just received my CD's in the mail from Mike and Judy Flack and I am almost without words. Not quite though. This is a great collection of photos of the past Critter Cookout 28-29 May. It is professionally assembled and presented in such a way to preserve the memories of those good times for the future. There are so many occasions when I've wished I had a camera and didn't. Thank you both so much for taking the time and expense to give all of us old Rangers something to fondly look back on in the years to come. You guys are tops! All the best. RLTW! |

Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Chuck Windham Secretary Message: I hope all of you Rangers have enjoyed a safe and healthy Veterans Day. I have just returned from the Celebration hosted by the Lumpkin County High School. It was quite an event, honoring all Vets. Lunch followed in the high school library. Many of the Ranger Cadre from Camp Merrill attended and had lunch with us old guys. What wonderful soldiers we have in today's Army. I had the opportunity to sit with a 0-3 who comanded a LURS unit in the middle east. They used many of the tactics our LRRP/Ranger teams used in"Nam. The president of the USMRA, Steve Hawk had a big hand in putting on the event today. I hope you went to one in your area. I will post the meeting minutes shortly. Be safe and remember, RLTW. |

The report listed John Bel Edwards as a West Point Grad, and an Army Ranger. Just another example as how Rangers Lead the Way! Don't forget our meeting in December. See you there. |
