Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Bill Breen Message: Its been over 30 years, but as a student in class 2-77 Col Howard, then Capt Howard, was an RI on more than 1 of my patrols. I think most all the students knew he was awarded the MOH. but none knew the details. As far as I can recall, he wasnt blind in 1 eye, but he wasnt real fond of the fridgid temps we endured.
