From Ranger Thompkins
Someone had asked about Sonny Fox on 09/29 of last month. I live about two miles from Sonny and had a great visit with him today. Sonny had a medical procedure in the last month but seems to be doing well. Sonny had a huge smile on his face when he was sharing a story about waking Ranger Parten up late one night to inform him he was shipping out to Ranger school the next morning.

Message: I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Vice-Chairman Chuck Windham and Al Parten for the planning and execution of the meal for the 3 October USMRA meet and eat. Thanks also go to Drew Herbert for his hospitality in letting the association use his place as an alternative meeting venue. I can't forget Gary Kansky and his role in making the weapons raffle a success. If Gary hasn't contacted you by now, you are not among the lucky winners. We'll do it again next year. We appreciate everyone who supported the weapons fund raiser.
