Posted: 09/16/2021 Name: Bob Williams Message: The October USMRA meeting will be held Saturday the 2nd at the home of Drew Herbert near Dahlonega. This is a joint event for members of the USMRA and 5th RTB. Family members are welcome. Burgers and dogs will be provided. Feel free to bring your favorite side dish and beverage. Come fellowship early in the afternoon, eat around 1700 and live music at 1800. Message me for the address. The next Meeting will be 4 November 2021 at Camp Merrill. |

Posted: 09/11/2021 Name: John Thomas Message: We need a couple strong folks to lift two steel doors onto the hinges. Our neighbors, Jon and Tara, who are Ranger instructors, were reassigned to Alaska, were always helpful with this kind of thing, so I thought to post here. I hope that it's OK. We insist on paying $30 to each for probably 10 minutes or less of work. The doors probably weigh 200 lbs each. We're not far from the Ranger base, just off 9 in Dahlonega on the Etowah river.
