Posted: 01/10/2022 Name: Tom Wilburn Message: CSM John Howerton had a change of responsibility with CSM Joey D. Blacksher at CFM today. Attendance was limited due to FBGA COVID protocols but USMRA had a couple of folks representing. I wanted to say that CSM Howerton has been one of the finest CSM's I have ever had the pleasure of knowing in my more than 40 year association with CFM. He has shown amazing leadership, true compassion, and treats every member of the team at CFM with the utmost dignity and respect. Incoming CSM Blacksher will have big shoes to fill. My respect and gratitude go to CSM Howerton and I wish him all the best as he moves towards retirement in the local area. |

All the details are found on the USMRA website. Posted: 12/15/2021 Name: Bob Suchke Message: Sad news to report: Michael M. Keohane has passed away at his home in Nashville, Tennessee on the 13th of December 2021. His niece asked that this information be posted: A Wake will be held in his honor at Marshall Donnelly and Combs Funeral Home 201 25th Ave North Nashville, TN 37203 on Monday 12/20. There are two sessions, the first is 2-4pm and then 7-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be at the Cathedral of the Incarnation 2015 West End Avenue Nashville, TN on 12/21 at 10:30. Burial will follow the next day 12/22 at 10:00am at Pegram Military Cemetery 7931 McCroy Ln, Nashville TN. Mike was a loyal member and will be missed.
