It was decided a couple meetings ago to change to the 16th of May, because the CMD at CFM would rather have it when no Ranger Class is in Cycle. I thought this was discussed on the site, if not. EVERYONE, the CCO will be on the 16th of May 2009 behind the NCO Club at CFM. We will attempt to serve chow around 1500. |

Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Steve Hawk Message: Rangers Ranger Sonny Bragg had to have his hurt leg amputated. Sonny is over 80 years old and went through jump and Glider school in 1946. This is a hard thing to accept for such an active and head strong Ranger who spent many years on those legs. He is currently in Northeast Georgia Medical Center. I have not talked to him since I got the word. If your near Gainesville go by and give some encouragement. If you can't just give him a call. We may need to put together a team and go to his house and make it more user friendly. I'll post later if we need to do that. Steve |

Posted: 12/31/1969 Name: Michael M. Keohane Message: After two days of renewing my memories, I am leaving Dahlonega and the RMC. I spent a lot of time Friday just walking around - visited the sixty foot clift area and the airstrip. Best part of the trip was meeting everyone at the Overlook on Thursday night and talking to some of the current cadre & students on Friday. I will be back. RLTW |
